Happier and healthier you

Our mission is to ensure that our service is dementia friendly, striving to help clients live happier, healthier, and more fulfilling lives.

We understand how dementia can affect the ability of an individual to remain independent in their own home and the worry this can cause loved ones.

We work to support you maintain your independence by identifying your support needs and putting measures in place to help you manage your daily tasks on your own.

Live-In Care

At some stage, aging adults find it challenging to manage the day-to-day tasks they once did. They come to discover their need for additional help and support.

A potential long-term solution to this could be looking into a personalised care and support service that provides reassurance when living alone at home.

Another option could be looking at moving into a care home, where individuals are cared for collectively under set routines in contrast with the personalised care option delivered to individuals in their homes, which is often referred to as live-in care.

Companionship

We believe that care and support are not about complex medical needs or essential personal care tasks. It is important to live the life that you want, doing the things you love and feeling as yourself as possible. We can support you with hobbies and interests, outings or day outs, running errands, or just popping around for a cup of tea and a good chat.

Each of our carers is recruited and trained to provide quality companionship services, tailored to your own wants and needs, so you can live a fulfilling and independent life. As a family-run business, we can offer continuity of care so that you can build familiarity and a friendship with your companion. We will endeavor to send you a regular carer to assist with hobbies, activities, and errands so you can develop a relationship that we know you will enjoy.

Palliative Care

We follow the national palliative care guidelines and we cover all aspects of care including pain management, administering medication, cooking meals, and companionship. Our holistic approach of care means we work alongside a number of organisations including your GP, and NHS continuing health care teams, to offer the right level of home care for you and your family.

Palliative care at home can involve:

  • Personal care and assisted living - assistance with bathing, dressing, and toileting

  • Continence care - changing continence pads or managing a stoma or catheter

  • Medication support - administering medication as prescribed

  • Pain management

  • Help around the home - moving around the home through gentle support or hoisted transfers, housekeeping duties

  • Meals preparation - preparing your meals to your tastes and washing up afterward

  • Pet care - feeding and walking
